Access to the circle:

A walk across boggy moorland is needed to reach the site but this is not too bad and a narrow footpath leads most of the way. When I visited, an old battered and barely legible sign gave some details of the site. It can be seen from the end of a road where there is room for parking. The walk is fairly short and easy.

Description:

The circle lies on a small flat shelf of land with good views to the east, south and west but the view to the north is obscured by high ground. In summer the circle is overgrown with bracken but the stones can still clearly be seen, the largest being about 1.8m high. Others range from about 1.2 to 1.5m, some are fallen but most remain upright or leaning. There are about 21 stones in all, the tallest being at the east and south In general an impressive site but it was difficult to get a true impression when I visited because of the depth of the bracken.
