Access to the circle:

The circle is sign posted from just outside Inverrurie. A car park is provided and a short walk of about 400m up a slight hill is needed to reach the site. It is fenced off in the corner of a field and access is via a small swing gate. It is easy to find.

Description:

The circle is in state care and well maintained. It is surrounded by a neat retaining wall 0.8m high. The interior, which is unlittered with any structures, is covered with very short grass. From the circle there are extensive views to the South, East and NE and the large peak of Mither Tap dominates the western skyline. All the stones stand tall and upright, the massive recumbent and its flankers dominate the circle. A proper impression cannot be gained of this site because of the restricting fence that encircles it. An excellent example of a recumbent stone circle and well worth a visiting.
