Astronomical alignments from this circle: -. Excavations undertaken at this circle: - Details of any finds at this circle: This circle is not in state care. Access to the circle: Follow the directions for the Druid's Circle. After about 1/2 mile a wall on the left hand side of the track runs along side the track. Where the wall comes to an end there is a cottage on the right hand side and a gate opening into a large field on the left. The low stones of Red Farm can be seen in this field some 150m away. There is a DANGER sign on the gate. It is however difficult to see what the danger might be unless it's savage sheep or possibly a strategically placed bull. Description: On the day of my visit I was short of time and also perhaps a little deterred by the DANGER sign. Either way I did not attempt to get to the site. It is possible to see it from the path and it appears to be no more than 3-4 low stones placed a few metres apart. Probably not worth the hassle of climbing the gate for. |

It's difficult to see what the danger is; unless it's a savage sheep!  This large (playing card) of a stone as described by Aubrey Burl, lies in the next field to Red Farm. It is also close to the cottage that is near the above mentioned gate. |
