Access to the circle:

The circle lies at the side of the A841 Brodick to Lamlash Road. There is a small clearing on the east side of the road in a conifer plantation. Although the circle lies only about 10m from the road side, it is not obvious because it is hidden by vegetation and small trees growing along the road side. The stones are almost hidden behind heather and bracken in summer time.

Description:

There are five boulderous stones which vary greatly in size and also smaller stones that are almost hidden by dense heather. There is a distinct outlier to the south which is 1.2m tall and is larger than any of the circle stones. All views are hidden by trees and dense vegetation which makes the size and true appearance of this circle difficult to judge. Not particularly impressive although it's situation next to a road makes it easy to visit.

Lamlash

Although Lamlash is situated next to the main road it is not easily seen in the bracken and heather.
